Getting Started: Finding Your Perfect Wig
Not sure where to begin? Start with these three questions: What's your lifestyle? How much styling time do you have? And what's your budget? From there, explore our collections by style, color, and brand — or reach out to Heather directly for a personalized recommendation.
Wig Types Explained
Synthetic Wigs — Affordable, low-maintenance, and ready to wear right out of the box. Great for beginners or those who want an effortless everyday look.
Human Hair Wigs — The most natural look and feel. Fully heat-styleable and long-lasting with proper care.
Heat-Friendly Synthetic — The best of both worlds. Styled with low heat tools for versatility without the human hair price tag.
How to Measure Your Head
Use a soft measuring tape and measure around your full hairline — front to nape, ear to ear. Most wigs are adjustable and fit average head sizes (21.5"–22.5"), but we carry petite and large cap options too.
Wig Care 101
- Wash every 6–8 wears with wig-safe shampoo
- Always air dry on a wig stand — never use a blow dryer on high heat
- Store on a stand or in a silk bag when not in use
- Detangle gently from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb
Styling Tips
- Use only wig-safe products — regular hairspray can cause buildup and damage
- For synthetic wigs, avoid flat irons unless labeled heat-friendly
- A little dry shampoo at the roots adds volume and refreshes between washes
